The fans haven’t yet gotten comfortable with their iPhone X and there are rumors already about the next version of iPhone. According to a report by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is working to launch 2 smartphones in the second half of next year. One of these smartphones will come with a 6.5 inch OLED screen with an edge-to-edge display, whereas, the other smartphone will be a little smaller one with the 6.1-inch display and might come with LCD screen.

According to the conclusion we could derive after reading all the media reports on the topic, it seems like Apple is going to launch a plus version of the recently launched iPhone X and along with that, there might be another smartphone launched with a smaller price tag. LCD screen is an option, which according to us, no mainstream brand will consider launching on their flagship smartphone. The report by Ming-Chi Kuo, however, adds that the cheaper iPhone will also feature face ID and the high-resolution camera setup, which gives us an idea that touch ID has completely gone from the Apple devices. Also, the omission of touch ID will give more screen space.

Along with these 2 new products, Apple is also rumored to launch an upgraded version of iPhone 8, which will feature the same screen size of 5.8 inches. That means if the report of Kuo is to be believed, we are set for 3 new smartphones from Apple in the next year. This move could help Apple scale new heights of sales as the company is targetting to register its highest figures with the latest iPhone X launch in the ongoing quarter.

At present, iPhone X is the biggest Apple smartphone with a screen size of 5.8 inches. iPhone 8 Plus features a 5.5-inch screen, whereas, iPhone 8 has a 4.7-inch screen.
